Welcome to Evangel Temple!

These FAQs may help you on your first visit here.

Where is the best place to park?

We have parking in many places throughout out campus, including specially marked "Visitor" parking spaces just off the main circle drive, near the sanctuary entrance doors, and also in the parking lot just west of the main building.

Younger people or people with children may want to park in the west parking lot, and older folks in the smaller lot just south of the building where it is an easy walk to the sanctuary.

Parking is also available on the street and on the lawn near the Corner House, and in the paved parking around the Barn.

What Sunday morning service is right for me?

We have two Sunday morning services to choose from:

  • 9:00 AM, Main Sanctuary - The Classic service has a traditional feel with choir and orchestra, and congregational singing that includes hymns. The Lead Pastor typically preaches in this service.

  • 10:45 AM, Main Sanctuary - The Contemporary service is more modern than our traditional service with a band and worship team. Preachers in this service rotate. The last Sunday of every month is Family Sunday where our kids K-5th join us for an intentional and special service. Nursery and Preschool ministries meet as usual for our younger kids.

What time should I arrive?

Plan to arrive about 10 minutes early for time to park and make your way to the service. If you have children, you may want to arrive 15-20 minutes early to meet their teachers and check them into their classes.

What should I wear?

You will see everything at ET from jeans and t-shirts to suits and ties! Most people wear something close to 'business casual'—slacks and collared shirts or blouses, or dressy jeans and tops.

What are some next steps?

At Evangel Temple, we are committed to coming alongside anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with Jesus—and finding a local church you can call 'home' is a significant part of that journey. We think ET is a special place that deserves that consideration. If you're interested in getting connected or getting involved in the life of this church, there are a few "next steps" to be on the lookout for:

  • Membership Connection. This 2 hour class is a requirement for membership and is held four times a year. The class is held on a Wednesday & the following Saturday in both the Spring & the Fall in the conference room of the Office building. Learn about ET's ministries, its history, beliefs, and values, and how to get involved. Children are welcome to attend with their parents. You can look for this event to be announced on our FB page, the weekly service bulletin and on this website. All it takes to RSVP is to sign-up.
