Family Worship at ET

The last Sunday of every month at ET is called "Family Sunday". Why do it every month? There are three reasons: 1) We recognize the most influential person in your child's life is you! In recognizing that, we see the value in having your child watch you worship in song, giving, and prayer corporately on a monthly basis. This is going to have a much bigger impact on them than anything we can say and do in Kids Church. 2) The church as a whole needs to see our children worshipping. Their faith is inspiring and powerful. We can learn from them too on these weeks. 3) We are family. Three out of four Sundays a month we all go our separate ways to worship in our age groups. Family Sunday is essentially Reunion Sunday! This is our time to all worship together, pray for one another, encourage one another, and invest in one another. Don't miss it! Bring your child to Kids Church at 9 am, and then pick them up at 10:30 am so they can join you and other families for the 10:45 am service in the sanctuary. (Pre-School and Nursery ministries are offered as usual for the little ones who can't quite make it through the Family Services yet.)

After every Family Sunday Service, we encourage families to eat lunch together in our Family Life Center. It's an easy, cost effective way to enjoy lunch with your church family once a month. What do you have to do? Bring your favorite, or easiest, family size dish to share. We have outlets in the kitchen off the gym for crockpots, and a refrigerator available to store your dish appropriately. Following second service, we will all meet in the gym to eat together. Best part, when the kiddos finish before the adults they can run and play while we fellowship! It's what we call a win-win for the whole family!
