Pastor Isaiah Jesch

Tomorrow; Part 2: God Knows

Tomorrow; Part 2: God Knows

From Matthew 6:31-33, Pastor Isaiah continues on the series on God's will by affirming that God is the God of our future. Similar to last week's message that taught that our futures are in God's hands, this week's sermon expounds on the amazing truth that God knows everything about the future. These realities about God have laid the foundation for the next two weeks as we will now transition into seeing how we are to do our part in preparing for the future God has for us.

Apostles' Creed: "He descended to Hell. On the third day, He rose again."

Apostles' Creed: "He descended to Hell. On the third day, He rose again."

From 1 Peter 2:21-25, Pastor Isaiah Jesch focuses upon the death of Jesus Christ for the sins of His people. The Creed’s phrase “He descended into Hell” is explained in light of Christ enduring the wrath of God toward the sins of His people. Since Jesus rose again from the dead, we have a God who understands and empathizes with us in all of our suffering, hardships, trials and stresses. We are invited to come to Jesus, who endured Hell for us, and find Him to be our gracious Saviour.
