Pastor Charlie Arsenault

Charlie Arsenault was born and raised on Concord, New Hampshire. Charlie has 24 years experience in youth ministry. He attended the University of New Hampshire and Central Bible College where he received his B.A. and has earned a Masters Degree at Concordia Lutheran Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.

Charlie has a great rapport with youth and adults. He is noted for his humor and colorful teaching of Christian truths. He lives with his wife, Lil, who is a surgical RN. They have two grown sons, a daughter, and three grandchildren.

Before moving to Springfield, Missouri in 1996 to pastor Evangel Temple, he served as Senior Pastor of First Assembly of God in the Princeton, New Jersey area. Other locations of youth ministry were in St. Louis, Missouri, at West County Assembly of God, and ministering for 18 years as youth/associate pastor, in Green Bay, Wisconsin and Dallas, Texas.

His hobbies include competitive racquet ball, auto mechanics, a classic car and street rod collection, reading, home rehabbing, and lawn care.

Charlie has served as an Executive Presbyter in the Assemblies of God Southern Missouri District. He is often found visiting the Springfield college campuses; he also has much involvement in the community of Springfield and mentoring young pastors and students.

He has a genuine love for people, being with people and most of all connecting people together in the body of Christ.
